About Me

My goal is to help foster a greater sense of ease in the body, and this path is different for each client. With a focus on balancing disharmonies within the body, I bring over 20 years of experience combining various techniques to create an individualized treatment plan for each client that facilitates their unique healing journey. Whether helping new patients begin their healing process, or greeting each long-term client with fresh eyes, contemplating the amazing puzzle of the human body continues to be a rewarding and wonderful challenge for me. I am passionate about helping others find balance and pain reduction.

During my time as a competitive athlete, I quickly became familiar with injuries and pain. While seeking strategies to decrease my own recovery time, I was lucky enough to work with a massage therapist who helped me develop wonderful self-care strategies and simple bodywork solutions. I eagerly shared these with my friends and teammates, and was excited to learn more. Over the years I continued to soak up knowledge from friends, trainers, physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other professional practitioners, to continue to assist in the healing of myself and friends.

After graduating from Humboldt State University with a degree in Environmental Biology, I attended the East West College of the Healing Arts, where I became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). I still thirst for knowledge about my craft and continue to pursue new techniques to restore and support optimal health and balance to my clients.

As a long-term Portland resident, I love living in the Pacific Northwest and exploring with my partner, daughter, son, and our adorable dog Luna.
